Rough Morning

DAY 2

10/01/2012

Completely overwhelmed with school and everything around me to the point that I feel like I'm on a never ending Ferris Wheel ride. But at the end of the day I come to realize that life is short and likewise beautiful.

Life is beautiful in it's way of transforming itself. You can have the gloomiest and stormiest day but once  the storm has passed it takes all else with it.

"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep."  John 10:10 (NKJV)
Today may not be the best of day and tomorrow might not get better but that's what makes life beautiful... its ups and downs. And as a promise from God himself, He gave us life for a reason, a purpose and a meaning. So what difference does a "bad" day have? Almost NOTHING.

First Blog

Day 1

09/30/2012

Life as a Vapor is my first blog. I decided to write this to share my ordinary life in an extraordinary way. Sometimes we take our lives for granted and live it day by day instead of second by second.

"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things." Philippians 4:8 (NKJV)

Some people call it "YOLO" but wouldn't it be more meaningful to live it once in truth, in purity, in love and in virtue? It's something to think about and to be honest, I have never thought about life in such a way. An album full of memories of the things that you've done is worthwhile. But a life lived while leaving your footprints in the lives of others is priceless.

I chose to title this blog as "Life as a Vapor" because life is a simple wisp of air, it's minute, and within moments vaporizes in the air. Account for the short period of time before the short wisp of enjoyable air entangles in an accumulation of polluted vapor.
